Before we can get started with the tools and cheats we need to sort out the backgammon basics. If you don’t know the rules you just can’t cheat. I’m not ready to type out all the rules just yet so I’ll wait a little while and make a separate post about it but I will write out a few guidelines.
Backgammon is a pretty simple game, you play on a board with tongues and you are supposed to move all your markers to your side and after that off the board by rolling the dice.
You can place a marker on all empty tongues or tongues where you have markers or your opponent has only 1.
You start with your markers spread out all over the board.
There is a “best” move in every single situation which makes a bot a very qualified player.
